Upon arrival to the airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative, and transfer to Sigiriya.
Check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to climatize.
             Over-night at hotel in Sigiriya.


In the morning leave on a sightseeing tour of ANURADHAPURA.

 For about 1,400 years Anuradhapura was the sacred capital of Sri Lanka back when kings were ruling. The marvelous monuments, precise sculpture and paintings of this UNESCO world heritage site truly showcase Sri Lanka’s culture.



                                In the afternoon visit MIHINTALE.



1,840 stairs of granite slabs, guides you to the summit, from where you can experience a spectacular view.

Leave for Polonnaruwa.
En-route visit and climb the famous SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS.

This big rock in the jungle is probably the most magnificent monument that Sri Lanka has to offer. It is a UNESCO world heritage site and the site was known from ancient times as a hermitage for Buddhist monks. The complex architecture includes some of the oldest landscaped gardens in Asia.

Leave on a sightseeing tour of POLONNARUWA.

This is a UNESCO world heritage site and also the mediaeval capital of Sri Lanka. The city of Polonnaruwa is a beautiful display of our cultural heritage. This site is much more complicated than Anuradhapura. In the Gal Vihara complex, you will see three enormous Buddha statues carved out of one single rock.

Finally you will see the New Museum where all the above places are displayed with modules.

Leave for KANDY.

Great kings ruled this sacred city for almost 225 years until the British took over in 1815; Kandy, a UNESCO world heritage site, was the last capital of the Sinhala kings. Kandy is known as the hill capital of Sri Lanka and hosts the annual Esela Perehera that takes place in the month of August showcasing more than 100 finely decorated elephants.


This 1st century B.C rock caved golden temple is home to some of the most extraordinary buddha paintings in the world. The mural paintings and 157 buddha statues tell different stories of the life of Lord Buddha, and this is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Also visit a SPICE GARDEN at Matale and a BATIK FACTORY where the ancient process of making batik by using wax as the main component could be seen.

Journey continues to Kandy. Check-in at the hotel in Kandy.
18:00hrs witness the KANDYAN DANCE.

This temple holds the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. For Buddhists all over the world, this is one of the most sacred places.

The Orphanage takes care of young elephants abandoned by their mothers and displaced from their natural environment due to various reasons. At 09:15hrs the baby elephants are being bottle-fed.  At 10:00hrs the entire herd is taken to the river for a bath.

Return to Kandy.

This garden is 1540 feet above sea level with a land area of about 150 acres. The Peradeniya botanical garden is well known for its large variety of plants & creepers with the centre-point being the orchid-house, which contains more than 300 orchids.

Leave for Nuwara Eliya.
En-route visit a TEA FACTORY. See the process of tea being manufactured and buy unblended, high grown, & high quality tea here.
Visit The Golf course, where the Golfers consider this course to be one of the finest and certainly among the most picturesque in Asia.

                        Leave for Kataragama. On the way see Ravana water falls (8m).Check-in at the hotel in Kataragama.
Around 15:00hrs leave for a jeep safari of the YALA NATIONAL PARK.

Covering an area of 378 sq miles, this is the most famous national park in Sri Lanka. Leopards, elephants, buffalo & sloth bear are just a few of the animals that roam this park. There are 130 species of birds including Pelicans, Serpent Eagle, & Sea eagle.

Leave for Colombo. You would be passing through Hambantota SALTERNS and you will be able to see the STILT FISHERMAN at Weligama.
En-route visit GALLE.

Being the center of the Dutch regime in the 17th century, the marvelous Galle Fort is a must-see attraction. The city is a UNESCO world heritage site known for its fine handmade lace and ebony carvings.

Continue journey to Colombo. Colombo city tour.

Leave for the airport in time for the departure flight.
